Wendy and Sean met on September 4, 2015 at Pannikin Coffee in La Jolla. Wendy had just graduated from Optometry school in Florida and relocated to San Diego for her residency at the VA hospital. Sean was a first-year attorney working at a local firm and preparing to start his own solo practice.
The two were immediately drawn to one another and bonded over stories of recent travels, ultimately determining that a future of adventure together might be in the cards.
They were right. Over the next four years, the young couple trekked across deserts, explored caves, climbed mountains, swam in waterfalls, filled their passports with stamps, plastered Wendy's Hydro-Flask with National Parks stickers, and put a staggering number of miles on Sean's trusty Jeep. They frequently got lost, occasionally got scraped up, and on one occasion got hopelessly stranded in Paige Arizona, but somewhere along the way, realized they wouldn't have it any other way - as long as they had each other.
Then, on October 29, 2018 on Gapstow Bridge in Central Park, NYC, Sean decided he'd waited long enough and invited Wendy to join him on their greatest adventure yet.
Ladies please keep in mind that our venue is on a large property with grassy areas and uneven terrain. Wedges or sturdy heels are highly recommended!
